Following Nintendo, Microsoft Confirms Xboox Is Not Present At The E3 Event

JAKARTA - After a lot of news was circulated regarding Xbox, this game console finally confirmed that they would not be present at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2023 event.

In a statement by an Xbox spokesperson to the IGN, he said the company was still supporting the event. In addition, Xbox is likely to host a live broadcast alongside E3 on June 11.

"We can't wait to host our Xbox Games Showcase on June 11 and will share more details later. We are also looking forward to streaming with our show as part of E3 Digital and will not be on the E3 show floor," the spokesperson said, quoted on Sunday, March 12.

Apart from Xbox, the game company that has confirmed it is absent from the same event is Nintendo. At the end of February, a statement Engadget received from the company confirmed the truth.

"We approach our involvement in any event based on case-by-case and always consider various ways to engage with our fans. Since this year's E3 event was not in line with our plan, we decided not to participate," Nintendo wrote in the statement.

However, despite being absent from the event, Nintendo also confirmed that they would continue to be strong supporters of the ESA (Entertainment Software Association) and E3.

Earlier this month, many rumors said that the three world game giants including Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony decided to withdraw from E3 this year. Even so, that means until now only Sony has not publicly confirmed it.
