A collection of 'Series' can contain 80 videos with a maximum duration of 20 minutes per video. Through this feature, TikTok provides a new experience for content creators to create videos with a longer duration.

TikTok emphasizes that the presence of the Series feature remains accompanied by security certainty for its users. Therefore, uploaded content must continue to follow the guidelines of the TikTok community.

Regarding access prices, TikTok provides an opportunity for content creators to determine the price of their premium content. The price starts from US $ 0.99 (around Rp. 15 thousand) to US $ 189.99 (Rp. 2.9 million).

"Creators can choose how much their Series costs that best reflects the value of their exclusive content, which can be purchased for access via live links in videos or through creator profiles," TikTok said.

Interestingly, the money creators get from exclusive content will not be cut by TikTok.

A TikTok spokesperson said that content creators will receive 100 percent of their income temporarily. That way, users can earn pure income from the TikTok Series.

Until now, there is no information about when TikTok will cut the content creator's revenue using the Series feature.

According to the Mashable page, before the Series feature was introduced by TikTok, content creators only generated around US$0.02 (Rp300) to Rp0.04 US dollars (Rp600) for every 1,000 views from the TikTok Creator Fund.

This means that the majority of full-time creators on TikTok earn major income from other sources, such as promoting products, podcasting, selling template Notes, and other jobs.
