JAKARTA - Microsoft is now making its Bing Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot easier to talk to, where users can switch between different tones for response.

The head of Microsoft's web service, Mikhail Parakhin, has revealed that 90 percent of Bing preview reviewers will see three options that can change the chatbot's response.

The first option is Creative, more original and imaginative answers will be presented, while secondly, the Precise option emphasizes shorter and live replies. Finally, the Balanced option aims to reach the middle way.

In addition to the three options, Microsoft has also reduced Bing from refusing to answer for no apparent reason. Parakhin stated that Bing would reduce the example of hallucinations in answers, so it is hoped that the Bing chatbot can produce a response that is not too wild.

Furthermore, the new option will also help chatbot Bing AI respond to questions related to questions, not outside of that context, as quoted by The Verge, Friday, March 3.

Because recently, Bing became famous again for presenting unreasonable answers. Because of this, Microsoft quickly added some strict limits to Bing after many harsh responses circulated on Twitter and Reddit.

Microsoft has also recently launched new Bing AI capabilities to some of its services, such as adding shortcuts to the Bing chatbot to the Windows 11 taskbar this week, in order to integrate fast access into Windows search features.

More than a million people are now testing new Bing previews in 169 countries, and Microsoft recently opened previews for mobile users and integrated them into Skype conversations.
