JAKARTA - Recently WhatsApp has often tested features in its applications, including the Call Link feature for Windows users.

WhatsApp actually already has the option to share the link to the call in its mobile app, unfortunately the new original version of the Windows app hasn't got the feature.

However, that seems to be changing. Reported by WABetaInfo, the company is now testing the feature. Those running the latest WhatsApp beta for Windows version 2,2307.3.0, if they are lucky to be able to try out this new feature.

The Call Create Link is below the Call tab on WhatsApp. Users can click on it and then select the type of call, namely, video call or voice call.

Then, the link will be created and the user can share it with other people. Each call link will have a unique URL and only invited people can join the call after user approval.

The report also states an update with support for a call link to be rolled out to more people in the coming days.

The Call Link feature can work for video and audio calls. In addition, this feature is also useful for inviting others to ongoing calls, even if their number is not stored in the contacts.
