MG Sabet Dua Award At IIMS 2023 With Its New Electric Car Launched

JAKARTA - MG Motor Indonesia won the Best EV Car The Most Favorite award at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2023 which was held in Jakarta on Saturday, February 25. This award is given for MG's advantage in representing their brands or brands and products and providing attractive but functional services and designs.

The award is even more special because MG recently released its newest crossover, the MG4 EV in Indonesia. This vehicle offers many new technologies with aggressive designs, including the use of a 110-millimeter One Pack battery and a water and dust battery system.

According to MG Motor Indonesia Marketing and PR Director Arief Syarifudin, the number of MG4 EV orders increased rapidly to 330 units less than 10 days since the first day this car was launched. Initially, the order was limited to 100 people in the first wave.

"We are obliged to increase the standard year after year, and are very happy when we are appreciated in the form of the award we received," said Arief, quoted by Antara.

In IIMS 2023, President Joko Widodo also visited MG outlets and even entered the MG 4 EV cabin. This shows the government's support for the development of electric cars in Indonesia.

"Moreover, Mr. President Joko Widodo and his entourage took the time to stop by at the MG booth to be impressed with this year's prima donna, MG4 EV, and express their support for us. Of course we are more motivated," said Arief.

In addition to the The Most Favorite Best EV Car award, MG also won The Most Favorite Booth award at IIMS 2023. The success of MG Motor Indonesia in this event shows the potential for an increasing electric car market in Indonesia.
