Fortunately, you can create a direct download link to easily share your files on Google Drive. That way, your recipient can download files from you with just one click of the link.

Before creating a direct download link, you must first fetch the link for the file you want to send. Do it this way:

1. Go to Google Drive
2. Right-click on your file
3. Click Get Link
4. Under the link, make sure not to limit your sharing options. Your file must be available to anyone with the link
5. Click Copy link

How to Convert Your Google Drive Links for Direct Downloads

Once copied, the next step is to change your link to a direct download. Follow this step:

1. Paste your link into notepad (or another text editing app) so you can edit it.
2. Your link should be similar to this one: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RG3CAPiwiFlFATUlyIwhk0RrbEU4PgVP/view?usp=sharing
3. Each file has a unique file ID in the link, which is the text between d/ and /view
4. Delete the text/d/ from the link and replace it with uc?id= 
5. Now delete the part after the file ID, including /view, and replace it with &export=download in place of the text you've deleted
6. After that, the link that will be visible after the replacement is: https://drive.google.com/uc?id=1RG3CAPiwiFlFATUlyIwhk0RrbEU4PgVP&export=download

1. Go to Google Drive 
2. Right-click on your file
3. Click Get Link
4. Under the link, make sure your file is available to Anyone with the link
