PlayStation 5 Wrapped In Pure Gold, The Price Is IDR 12 Billion

JAKARTA - The price of the PlayStation 5 (PS5) is still quite expensive. But there is a PS5 which has a very fantastic price and is estimated at IDR 12 billion.

Quoting Wccftech, the special edition PS5 game console 'Golden Rock' was made by luxury Russian brand Caviar. They sell the PS5 covered in eight sheets of 18 carat gold and weigh about 20 kilograms.

"The Sony PlayStation 5 is the fastest, most powerful, and most advanced console, definitely one of the best-selling game consoles. Caviar couldn't just pass it up (to make) a gold version of the PlayStation that was so luxurious and very difficult to build," said Caviar Wednesday December 30th.

Besides carrying a premium design. Caviar will also equip the PS5 with a DualSense controller that is covered in crocodile skin texture and gold accents.

Although there is no official price offered for this luxury console. But if you look at the description of how much gold is used, at least the game console will be worth around 900 thousand US dollars or Rp. 12 billion.

Apart from the golden aesthetic attached to the console, the PS5 is indeed the most anticipated gadget in 2020. In terms of specifications, this next-gen console comes with a very high-speed CPU and GPU designed to display detailed graphics up to 4K resolution.

The PS5 console comes in two variants, namely the PS5 Digital Edition and the PS5 Ultra HD Blu-Ray Disc Drive. In Indonesia the PS5 Digital Edition is sold at IDR 7,299,000, while the PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-Ray Disc Drive costs IDR 8,799,000.
