JAKARTA - TikTok's social media platform launched Talent Manager Portal as part of the TikTok Creator Marketplace, which allows brands and agencies to connect with 800,000 eligible directors worldwide.

This new service allows talents managers to log in and access Creator Marketplace and then negotiate on contracts and deals with creators there.

Not only negotiating contracts, talent managers can also manage deals, handle creative feedback, and review various reports and metrics about campaign performance.

The current expansion allows TikTok not only to serve content creators' needs with tens or hundreds of thousands of followers, but also talent company empowerment in finding creators for their brands.

The free service aims to complement targeted Creator Marketplace offerings for brands that want to leverage advertising performance by involving content creators, who TikTok says provide a higher ad memory among 71% of surveyed brands.

According to a TechCrunch report, TikTok confirmed that its Talent Portal Manager is currently in alpha testing, and already has several agencies signed up.

However, parent company ByteDance said it could not share the names of its testers. In addition, TikTok notes that the talent manager will only have access to their client's Marketplace account, not the real creator's TikTok account.
