JAKARTA - This week, Quora launched Poe (Platform for Open Exploration), a chatbot-like service that allows people to get instant answers from AI according to the questions asked.
Currently, Quora CEO Adam D'Angelo said that they have started beta testing for Poe which initially will only be available for iOS users only.
"Poe will initially be available on iOS, and will only be invited until we complete scalability, get feedback from beta testers, and address any other issues that arise," Adam wrote on Twitter.
Today we are starting a beta test for a new product called Poe. Short for "Platform for Open Exploration", it lets people ask questions, get instant answers, and have back-and-forth dialogue with AI.

Once past this pilot phase, Quora will open it up to everyone and will add support for all platforms, such as Android.
"Poe is designed to be a place where people can easily interact with a number of different AI agents," a Quora spokesperson told TechCrunch.
The spokesperson also said Poe is like a text messaging app, but for an AI model, where users can chat with the model separately.
