JAKARTA - Amazon.com Inc announced on Thursday, December 8 that it will launch a new TikTok-like feed feature in its e-commerce app. They hope to attract new buyers in the US through photos and videos of their favorite influence providers.

The move comes as shopping activity slows down in response to an uncertain economy and high inflation for decades. This feature is also aimed at luring young viewers responding to formats like short videos, popularized by TikTok and Instagram.

Users can access the feed by clicking the "lightball" button in the bottom bar in the Amazon app. This feature will be available to users in the US selected earlier this month and rolled out to all users in the country over the coming months.
