JAKARTA - QRIS or QR Code Indonesia Standard is the standard payment QR Code for the Indonesian payment system developed by Bank Indonesia and the Indonesian Payment System Association (ASPI), which was launched on August 17, 2019.

As a digital wallet that has a QRIS payment system in its application, DANA was selected as the award winner of the QRIS Payment Services Provider (PJP) with Best Performance at the 2022 Bank Indonesia Award.

In the integration of DANA as a digital wallet with QRIS, the company aims to meet the needs of the community in carrying out various transactions, becoming the main focus of DANA to actively cooperate with local governments, financial institutions, communities, and MSME actors in educating the use of QRIS.

DANA shows an increase in QRIS transactions from June 2021 to June 2022, which has grown positively almost 5 times. This is the second time that DANA has won a prestigious award from Bank Indonesia.

Previously in 2020, DANA won a similar award, and showed the consistency and commitment of DANA in its efforts to support the Government in educating the use of QRIS considering that in 2020, DANA also received the same award from Bank Indonesia.

"The choice of FUNDS as recipients of the PJP Nonbank award with the Best QRIS Performance is certainly the pride and encouragement to continue to be dedicated in serving our users. This achievement cannot be separated from the trust of the users which is so great that DANA can contribute to the acceleration of digital transformation," said Vince Iswara as CEO and Co-Founder of DANA Indonesia in a statement received in Jakarta.

According to him, DANA has carried out various initiatives to improve digital literacy, especially related to QRIS as a payment standard that unifies various transactions and services.

"QRIS is now a game-changer in digital transactions in Indonesia, and DANA is committed to innovating by placing users at the center of technological innovation," concluded Vice.
