Apple Creates Its OWN "Metaverse" World With A Headset The Price Of Powering

JAKARTA - After Meta struggles in its metaverse, now it's Apple's turn to enter a virtual world similar to the metaverse by bringing its Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) headsets.

In the latest Power On bulletin, Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman reported that Apple in his list of jobs is stepping forward on aspects of the upcoming mixed reality headset software involving the world of mixed 3D reality, even the company plans to recruit employees to develop its new project.

It's hard to interpret it as a metaverse, but it will blend with real world elements, so it can be called a little like the metaverse.

In addition, there is also talk of some types of video services that will reportedly be available to headset owners, serving as portals to 3D content that can be played in virtual reality.

Two years ago, Apple acquired NextVR, which is developing technology to manufacture and broadcast VR shows. Gurman's report confirms this about Apple's intentions with the headset.

However, the headset is claimed to be more expensive than Meta's Quest. Allegedly, Apple will price it at around US $ 3,000 for IDR 46.6 million as it is included in high-end products that have the potential to be the best hardware in VR/AR products.

Gurman returns to rumors of the past where Apple plans to launch a reality OS headset that will likely have more than 10 cameras. Most likely, Apple will also use a three-stage resolution launch and powered by an M2 processor.
