JAKARTA - Another new feature of Instagram that makes it easier for users to create direct scheduled posts in the photo and video sharing application.

With the new Instagram post scheduling feature, users can schedule photos, carousels, and Reels directly in the application, up to 75 days earlier.

Unfortunately, not all users get this feature. Apart from not yet rolling out to all users globally, this post scheduling feature is also only intended for business accounts and content creators. There is no information yet whether ordinary users will get this feature as well.

To access this feature, eligible users must open Advanced Settings after creating their uploads but before sharing them with their followers.

From there, they can activate the Schedule this post and select the desired time and date to go live.

They then have to go back to the post they created and click Schedule. Scheduled posts can be seen in the Schedulated Content section which can be accessed via the menu.

Launching Engadget, Wednesday, November 9, with the presence of this feature, users no longer need to use separate Creator Studio websites or applications to schedule posts.

Instagram has been testing options over the past few weeks, with live tests seen in the middle of last month.

Functionally, this doesn't add anything new because users can schedule posts through Creator Studio since 2020. But now that feature can be used immediately in apakasi.
