JAKARTA - Koei Tecmo, a Japanese video game company recently announced its newest adventure horror title entitled Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse.

Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse will tell the story of five girls who mysteriously disappear during the Lagetsu Kagura, a festival held once every ten years on Ragetsu Island, South Japan.

The five girls were found by a detective with missing memories. However, one of the girls named Ruka Mizunaki, has a vague memory of a melody.

Ten years later, the two mysterious missing girls were killed one by one. Ruka, Misaki and Madoka, finally agreed to travel to Rotetsu Island to solve the mystery behind the incident.

Here, you will play Ruka Mizunaki, a 17-year-old girl from Rotetsu Island who is learning to play the piano. You will regain lost memories when you play the one-on-one melody you remember.

The title of this horror was originally launched for Wii in 2008, but was only released in Japan. However, finally Koei Tecmo and Nintendo decided to release it to the latest generation of consoles and PCs.

So, Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse will be released on March 9, 2023 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation5, PlayStation4, Xbox Series XS, Xbox One, Steam.
