JAKARTA - The California Governor's Office confirmed that its country is now leading the electrification in the United States with a much larger proportion of the new fully electric car purchased.

The state also expects that EV sales will continue to increase, as they intend to ban the sale of pure gas-fueled vehicles after 2035.
According to a graph shown by the California Air Resources Board (CARB), its projection is that half of all cars sold in the state will be plug-in (EV and PHEV) by 2028, reaching nearly 70 percent by 2030.
"Accelerating the number of ZEVs on our highways and highways will result in substantial emission and pollution reductions for all Californians, especially for those living near highways and suffering constant air pollution," said CARB Chair Liane Randolph, quoted via InsideEVs.
