Find Out FN Pistol Specifications That Women Share At The Palace

JAKARTA - This morning, on Tuesday, October 25, a woman with a veil was desperate to break through the security of the State Palace by pointing a firearm (senpi) at the Paspampres (Presidential Security Forces) on guard.

The woman, who is estimated to be 25 years old, was later arrested, and after being investigated by the Polda Metro Jaya, the gun used by the woman was a FN or Five-seveN type.

Launching from Military Today, the FN pistol was designed by the Belgian company Fabrique Nationale (FN). The word FN here, apart from the abbreviation of Five-SeveN, sometimes also to spell the initials of the manufacturer.

In addition, the 5 and 7 numbers on these pistols show unusual NATO standard 5.7x28mm cartridges, which were developed by FN Herstal fired from Chrom-coated cold hammer barrel.

The pistol, which was originally only available for military sales and law enforcement, was first disclosed to the public in 1996. The FN pistol was first adopted in 2000 by the Cyprus National Guard, and eventually became very popular.

Currently Five-SeveN operates with the military and law enforcement forces in more than 40 countries, including the United States. The civilian version was introduced in 2004.

At close range, FN is able to penetrate the standard CRISAT vest (kevlar + titanium) at a distance of 100 meters and the PAGST vest at a distance of 300 meters. Thus, Five-SeveN is the only gun equipped with this unique cartridge.
