Decentraland Denies Active User Data Lowers Drastic

JAKARTA The metaverse game platform Decentraland, reportedly experienced a drastic decline in active users. This indicates that the metaverse space is barely used. The decline hit an all-time low, according to Web3 data tracking site, DappRadar.

DappRadar pointed out that there have only been 42 active users in the last 24 hours. However, Decentraland quickly responded to the latest figures, labeling those numbers as'misinformation'. Instead, they offer their own statistics and data to support higher user numbers.

Furthermore, DappRadar data reveals that Decentraland has fewer than 50 active users per day. This data is quite surprising for the metaverse platform. This is because it can raise concerns about companies wanting to inject funds into the Decentraland metaverse platform.

Launching NFT Evening, the metaverse company that combines NFT, virtual soil, and metaverse technology has a valuation of more than $1 billion, but if the statistics are correct, that might change. In particular, active users are defined as an in-game expense using cryptocurrency Decentraland (MANA).

Significantly, Decentraland's subReddit is also very quiet, almost no involvement. One post that labeled DappRadar's numbers as inaccurate got just ten comments in more than a day. Interestingly, half of them asserted Decentraland's low-active user statistics.

On the other hand, Decentraland denied claims from DappRadar's data tracking platform about its low number of active users. In a tweet, Decentraland spoke about the controversy surrounding the number of active daily users, stating "Recentraland's a lot of misinformation about Decentraland's number of active users. Some websites only track certain smart contracts transactions but report them as daily active users of the DAU, which are inaccurate.

However, if the data from DappRadar really has the potential to affect the entry of large investors into the metaverse gaming platform. As stated above, Decenetraland has openly denied the data from DappRadar. That means, there is data from one party that is not in sync.
