JAKARTA - The Power Europe NIO facility in Hungary sent its first Power Swap Station to Germany on Friday, September 16, which marks a milestone in the acceleration of the development of NIO Power in the European market.

NIO Power Europe Plant, is the first NIO plant overseas, which is also a manufacturing, service and R&D hub for NIO's electric products in Europe.

The focus of the factory is as a place for manufacturers and services to sell power plants, training for the operation of electric power in Europe, and innovation of energy products.

At the NIO delivery ceremony, Qin Lihong, Co-founder and President of NIO said that as a truly global company, NIO considers Hungary an important step for its development in Europe. He also thanked the Hungarian government for supporting NIO.

"NIO is one of China's leading electric vehicle manufacturers with a global presence. The company has research and development centers and production facilities in various countries," Liu Bo, Minister of Counsel, Economic, and Commercial Section, Chinese Embassy in Hungary, said in a press release shared.

Bo also believes that NIO will continue to stimulate innovation, emphasize independent research and development, and bring the world of technology and the most advanced intelligent manufacturing capabilities to Hungary.

"I hope NIO will also give back to local residents, improve local economic development, fulfill the environmental and corporate responsibilities," he continued.
