This Turns Out To Be How Hackers Bjorka Are Difficult To Track Governments

JAKARTA - Until now, it is not known for sure who the hackers are, Bjorka, who had shocked the virtual world and the government. The reason is, Bjorka managed to pocket personal data from the Indonesian people such as SIM Card registration data, public data at the KPU, Indihome customer data, and even President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) confidential data.

Not only did several state officials who were victims of Bjorka's doxing, one of which was the Minister of Communication and Information Johnny G. Plate. Johnny's personal data such as NIK, KK number, home address, personal phone number and family members to vaccine ID were obtained by Bjorka.

Therefore, Cybersecurity Expert Alfons Tanujaya admits that Bjorka is already very experienced, making it difficult for anyone to trace it.

"He is a hacker who has experience and prepared himself well and does not easily track him down," said Alfons when contacted by VOI, Friday, September 16.

Furthermore, Alfons explained the reason why hackers like Bjorka are not easily annexed, be it their identity or location.

"He hacked a computer, then used a hacked computer to carry out the action. Then obscured his tracks with various technologies such as The Onion Routers (TOR)," explained Alfons.

Launching Tech Target, TOR itself is a web browser designed for anonymous web browsing, and provides protection against traffic analysis.

The way it works is, of course, it will be coated with several layers of encryption to hide the source and purpose of the infomation sent over the network. This is designed so that no one can monitor or censor communication done online.

Finally, TOR itself is often associated with darknets with criminal activities, law enforcement officials, journalists, activists, whistleblowers and individuals who are aware of security.
