JAKARTA - After months of testing, Discord finally launched the Forum Channels feature, its goal of course to help server owners organize their conversations.

This Channels Forum works like a threaded conversation topic that directs Discord users to talk about certain topics.

This feature will be useful for busy servers where it is easy to interfere with ongoing conversations.

Discord describes the Channels Forum as a place designed for focused discussions, not just remote chats and server members will be able to browse through these channels to find out what is relevant or create new ones as topics.

Owners and server mods can choose to create Channels Forums, text channels or voice channels, and new types of channels will live in the same place but can be distinguished from chat bubble icons.

Clicking on the icon will show a list of certain conversation threads uploaded under certain topics, of course, this should really help get Discord more organized.

Launching The Verge, Thursday, September 15, it is known, the Channels Forum also has a series of permits of its own, and server owners can create separate guidelines for each forum to help Discord members understand what the channel will be for.

For information, the Channels Forum will soon be launched on mobile and desktop devices to most servers with community features enabled.

Previously, Discord had also launched voice calls for Xbox consoles. Xbox players can now join Discord voice calls from their consoles and chat with friends on PC.
