JAKARTA - Recently Meta announced that they will be discontinuing the Live Shopping feature on Facebook and will focus on Reels.

Meta first introduced Reels to Instagram in 2020, and as Reels' popularity soared, Meta finally expanded this feature to another platform, namely Facebook in February 2022.

Basically making Reels on Facebook is very easy, but if you don't really understand how to make them, here are the steps you can take to create Reels on Facebook.

How to Make Reels on Facebook Launch the Facebook app on your device. Tap Reels just above your Story. Tap on the Create Reels panel to create a new Reels. You can choose to take recordings directly in the app, or select videos and photos from your camera roll. Once you've selected your content, it's time to edit. If you want to post Reels by recording them right away, you'll see several options on the right side of your screen. You will see Add Music, Speed, Effect, Timer, and Green Screen options.

On the Add Music tab, you can choose to add a soundtrack or song to your Reels from Facebook's licensed song library.

The Speed option is used to set the speed of your video. You can speed up or slow down your videos easily.

Then the Effect option is where you can add filters to your Reels. The Timer, on the other hand, will let you choose how long you want the camera to run before it starts recording.

Lastly, the Green Screen option is the most fun effect. This effect lets you change the background of your video.

Not only recording videos, Meta also brings many new tools to Facebook Reels that will make your Reels more interesting and creative.

One of its features is Sharing to Reels, this is a new way to share short videos to Facebook. This feature allows users to share videos from third-party apps to their Facebook account.

Users can share their videos via third-party apps, then customize them with editing tools such as audio, captions, effects, captions, and stickers. To save time, users don't need to download the videos, they can now create and share these videos with just a tap of a button.
