JAKARTA - A study conducted by Workday, a leading global company that provides cloud applications in the field of financial management and human resources, found that 9 out of 10 (88%) organizations in Indonesia are still lagging behind their maturity level in digital agility.
These organizations are still at a slow or tactical stage in the maturity level of their digital agility. The results of this study found that the lack of skills in acquiring and retaining talent (talent acquisition and talent retention) is the biggest challenge in pursuing digital transformation, according to these Indonesian organizations.
In collaboration with the International Data Corporation (IDC), this IDC-Workday Digital Agility Index Asia/Pacific 2022 study highlights how far organizations in Asia Pacific (APAC) have grown in terms of digital agility since the COVID-19 pandemic.
The study found that across nine Asia Pacific countries surveyed, progress in digital agility was uneven. In Indonesia in particular, only 1 in 10 organizations (12%) are already in the advanced digital agility stage, increasing technology adoption during the pandemic.
