JAKARTA - Recently, Senior Environment Texture Artist at game development studio Naughty Dog, Jonathan Benainous took to Twitter with an acknowledgment of The Last of Us Part I.

The Last of Us Part I was previously announced to be released for PS5 on September 2. At the time, the studio said that the PC version of the game was only listed as a "under development" game.

Given that players have been waiting for a PC version of the game for a long time, and it's not clear yet, finally Benainous may have helped provide a bit of a sneak peek.

In response to a player comment saying "So happy to see The Last of Us on PC!" Benainous finally gave a response to the tweet.

"Glad to hear you're hyped man! The PC version will be out a little later, but soon after the PS5 release!" Benainous replied.

That means, you can expect to play the PC version of The Last of Us Part I as soon as Naughty Dog releases it for PS5.

According to the developer, in The Last of Us Part I there will be a lot of fashion improvements. Also, the reason Naughty Dog is releasing it on PS5 is because they're going to take advantage of the PS5 hardware.

For example, rendering Native 4K at 30 FPS or dynamic 4K at 60 FPS, and featuring PS5 mainstays such as DualSense wireless controller haptics, trigger effects, and 3D audio.

From a character standpoint, Naughty Dog claims to be rebuilding from the ground up to take advantage of the new generation of graphics capabilities, which will allow the game to achieve the visual fidelity the studio wants.
