JAKARTA - Spotify has reportedly added real-time song lyrics to the Google Nest Hub. This feature can help users who want to sing by viewing the lyrics directly in the application.

Maybe this isn't something new, seeing real-time song lyrics was previously available on Android, iOS and web apps back in 2020, and now it's available on the Nest Hub.

Nest Hub is an IoT smart display type. Even though it looks like a tablet, the Nest Hub is better placed at home, and not carried anywhere.

Google says that the Nest Hub works to provide assistance in any room of your home. This device comes with the Google Assistant. You can also make it a digital photo frame, and a speaker for tuning music.

It's not clear when this real-time lyrics feature will make its way to the Nest Hub, but some users including 9to5google have already discovered this feature on their Nest Hub. According to the report, when you're playing music from Spotify, the lyrics button will be available in the lower right corner of the heart.

If you press the button, the background image will change and will then display text highlighting the current line as the track progresses. When there are no lyrics, a scale icon will appear.

Initially, when these real-time lyrics were launched, this feature was only available in certain countries, including Asia, the United States and Central America. Then in the following years, Spotify extended this feature to all Spotify users for Android, iOS, web, game consoles, desktop computers, and select smart TVs.
