Twitter Update Claimed To Make Third Party Apps Better

JAKARTA - A few days ago, Twitter announced that it would make a significant update. This update is claimed to improve the experience in third-party Twitter applications.

Third party applications are applications created on the Twitter platform by external developers, and are not owned or operated by Twitter.

Well, when you connect a third-party app to your Twitter account, you can grant that app access to use your account.

"Today, we're rolling out a reverse chronological home timeline to Twitter API v2 to allow you to retrieve the most recent Tweets and Retweets posted by authenticated users and the accounts they follow," wrote Twitter staff Jessica Garson on the Twitter Community blog. May.

That's because Twitter knows this functionality is critical to many developer use cases. Twitter says it will continue to prioritize innovation and functionality that allows you to build with the core elements of the Twitter experience. Paul Haddad, the developer behind the popular Twitter client “Tweetbot” explained to The Verge, that API v1.1 allows apps to request updates to the home timeline 15 times every 15 minutes, with a limit of up to 800 tweets per user.

With this update, third-party apps support up to 180 requests in the same timeframe, with a limit of up to 3,200 tweets.
