JAKARTA - Wiko, a smartphone brand from France, will again enliven the cellphone market in Indonesia. By presenting three new smartphone models, Wiko View 4, View 4 Lite and Wiko Y61.

Wiko View 4 and 4 Lite, are the two latest generation smartphones that will enliven the low-cost mobile market in Indonesia. Featuring a larger battery, screen and storage memory sector than the previous generation sold in 2018.

The Wiko View 4 and View 4 Lite phones have dimensions of 6.52 inches with HD + resolution with a ratio of 20: 9. In order to appear more minimalist, Wiko View adopts a v-shape notch display.

In the rear camera sector, the Wiko View 4 is equipped with three cameras, with a 13 megapixel main camera, a 2 megapixel bokeh camera, and a 5 megapixel super wide angle camera, while the Wiko View 4 Lite is equipped with two cameras, with a 13 megapixel main camera and one 2 megapixel resolution bokeh camera.

From the hardware side, the Wiko View 4 and View 4 Lite carry the MediaTek Helio A25 chip with a 12nm fabricated 1.8 GHz octa-core CPU and Android 10 OS. Other embedded features include a Dual Nano-SIM card slot and a MicroSD slot up to 256 GB.

While the Wiko Y61 will be an entry level smartphone that boasts a large screen and battery. The smartphone is powered by a 1.8 GHz Quad-core Mediatek Helio A20 chipset with a power-efficient 12 nm fabrication. The Wiko Y61 has a large 6-inch screen with an IPS screen panel and a large 3,000 mAh battery.

The Wiko View 4 3GB + 64GB variant is priced at IDR 1,399,000, the 2GB + 64GB View 4 Lite variant is priced at IDR 1,199,000 and the 2GB + 32GB Y61 variant is priced at IDR975,000. The three smartphones were first sold at Lazada Indonesia on October 19, 2020.
