JAKARTA - GameSpot seems to want to sell NFT, after other game industries such as Square Enix and Ubisoft have already joined the blockchain.

The company posted a tweet on its new official NFT GameStop account on Thursday, May 19 with just two letters: "gm!", which is an acronym for "good morning".

However, in a separate tweet that followed, GameSpot finally clarified the NFT news. He said "Meet a new kid on the #GameStopNFT blockchain," the tweet read.

Following the tweet, GameSpot also uploaded an image containing words about its latest NFT.

"What the internet does for communication, blockchain does for value. Now, the global community can connect, coordinate and transact like never before," the image reads.

Launching Digital Trends, GameStop's NFT marketplace is a platform for in-game digital assets built into an Ethereum-based cryptocurrency platform called Immutable X to sell NFTs at low prices.

One month ago the GMEdd twitter account posted which indicated that NFT GameSpot would be launching at the end of July.

However, Robbie Ferguson, co-founder of Immutable X, says that it could launch four to eight weeks sooner. That is estimated June 1 and June 3.
