Sharing Instagram Stories with someone who isn't in the app is just as easy. Here's how:

3. Tap the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of the screen.
4. Now tap Share to, and select the contact you want to send the Story to. Or, tap the platform where you want to share the Story and select the relevant recipient.

Or, after tapping the three-dot menu in the Story, you can select the Copy link and then exit the app and paste the link into the chat with the person to share with them.
