JAKARTA - EA has announced that F1 22 Codemasters will be released on July 1 for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC via the EA App, Origin, Epic Games Store, and Steam.

The F1 22 will present a stunning new car and a new handling model. Plus, a more challenging aptitude test at the vibrant new Miami International Autodrome. Sprint will also be present for the first time in play in F1 22.

The new race options in F1 22 will give you even more control over virtual races as you can choose formation laps and broadcast styles and pit stops to your liking.

The F1 22 also includes VR compatibility on PC via the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive to give you an immersive F1 experience.

Standard Edition pre-orders include an F1 Life Starter Pack, F1 22 New Era Content and 5,000 PitCoins. If you pick up the Champions Edition, you'll receive the same along with the MyTeam Icon, 18,000 PitCoins, and three-day early access.

Pre-orders well on May 16 are netting a Miami Themed Content Pack with livery, helmet, suit, gloves, t-shirt, hat, and custom wall art. Heralding a new season with new cars and new handling models (along with the Miami International Autodrome as one of the tracks), F1 22 also featured the introduction of the F1 Sprint.

As reported by Insider, Tom Henderson, F1 Life is a big new feature with players unlocking outfits, accessories and supercars. MyTeam and Career Mode are back along with two-player split-screen multiplayer, F2 and online play.
