JAKARTA - Apple reportedly accidentally uploaded a direct support document for a 35W charger with two ports, allegedly powered by gallium nitride (GaN) technology which may also make it smaller.

Before the document was retracted by the company, 9to5Mac managed to take a screenshot of the accessory product called the 35W Dual USB-C Port Power Adapter.

It's not clear when Apple plans to release this accessory, or if it's just a prototype. However, the support document makes it clear that the accessory does exist.

This is most likely the approx 30W GaN-based charger that analyst Ming-Chi Kuo tweeted last month, which it claims will have a new form factor design and arrive in 2022.

Launching The Verge, Saturday, April 9, although it is still a puzzle, but if this accessory is present in the market then consumers can fast charge the iPhone 13 Pro Max and Apple Watch at the same time with that level of power.

Even the M1 MacBook Air can be paired with an Apple Watch, an iPad or a pair of iPhones, as well as an iPad Pro and iPhone at a slower speed.

It doesn't stop there, adopting GaN technology to help Apple streamline its charging lineup and make it more flexible with a dual-port design, faster performance, and more. GaN chargers are usually smaller than non-GaN chargers as well.

Note that this isn't Apple's first GaN charger, but the company has previously also had a 140W power adapter shipped with the new 16-inch MacBook Pro.

But this will be the first dual-port charger Apple has ever made and of course the first with a USB-C type.

Apple previously brought a Belkin charger that had a single USB-C port and a 32W charger with both USB-C and USB-A ports, but not Belkin's dual-USB-C charger as the documents revealed.
