JAKARTA - Apple Inc announced that all of its services, including the App Store, Apple TV and Apple Music, have recovered after an outage that began on Monday afternoon, March 21. Nearly a dozen Apple services were suspended in various parts of the world due to thousands of users.

The company's system status page has shown 11 outages including podcasts, music, and arcades. Apple is investigating the issue and service may be slow or unavailable.

According to outage tracking site Downdetector.com, more than 4.000 users reported problems accessing Apple Music. While nearly 4.000 also reported problems with iCloud.

Users also flagged issues with "find my iPhone", Apple stores, maps, and support.

Downdetector tracks outages by compiling status reports from multiple sources including user-submitted errors on its platform. The outage may affect more users.

Apple responded to the complaints of affected users on Twitter, but it's not clear what caused the outage.

Bloomberg News reports that Apple corporate staff working from home and retail workers are also facing problems. According to the report, the outage delayed product repair, pickup and restricted workers' access to internal websites.

According to the report, Apple told staff that the outage stemmed from the domain name system, or DNS, an internet address book that allows computers to match website addresses with the correct server.

Reuters reported that in a number of incidents last year, DNS issues had caused widespread outages on social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram. Even a similar problem has crippled airline and bank websites for several hours.
