Japanese Gamers Prepare For Tray Battle: King Of Souls Next March

JAKARTA - Gamers in Japan will soon get a chance to test their skills in battle with Baki: King of Souls. Although the exact date is unknown, the game will appear on mobile devices sometime in March 2022. Pre-registration is still open.

The first announcement, Baki: King of Souls, appeared in January 2022. However, little information emerged at that time. A trailer is also out in February 2022, albeit with little actual gameplay information

According to ryokutya2089, quoted from Siliconera, this game will probably be a team-based game. However, it is not known whether gamers cooperate with other players or whether gamers control multiple characters as was done in Marvel vs Capcom.

So far, 90,000 people have pre-registered for the game. This means that when the game actually launches later, players will earn 2,500 gems to put in their pulls.

If 120,000 players pre-register, the developer will give 4,000 gems. Finally, if the players who pre-register have reached 150,000 people, players will receive a gacha ticket that will guarantee SSR characters.

Baki: King of Souls is based on the manga and anime series Baki the Grappler. It follows the story of Baki Hanma, who wants to test his skills against opponents in deadly hand-to-hand combat, with no rules.

The original anime series came out in 2001, and Baki and Baki Hanma are available for streaming on Netflix. As for the game Baki: King of Souls, it will be out on mobile devices in Japan in March 2022.
