Wow! Samsung Opens A Virtual Store On Metaverse Decentraland, Its Name Is 837X

JAKARTA - Samsung has entered the Decentraland metaverse. The tech giant is rumored to have opened a virtual store in Decentraland using the Samsung 837X name. Reportedly, the virtual shop will soon be opened for visitors to Decentraland for a limited time.

"Samsung's new experience metaverse delivers on its passion as an experiential playground for people to discover incredible possibilities when technology and culture collide," explains the announcement from Samsung.

The company further details that visitors will be able to experience the Connectivity Theater, Sustainability Forest, and Customiazation Stage. At the Connectivity Theater, it is planned that Samsung news will be displayed as well as a party which will be led by DJ Gamma Vibes. In both the Connectivity Theater and the Sustainability Forest, fans can search for NFT 837X along the way.

“At Samsung 837X, we are excited to tell our connectivity, sustainability and customization story in new ways, in unique spaces,” said Michelle Crossan-Matos, senior vice president of corporate marketing and communications at Samsung Electronics America.

Crossan-Matos also explains that the metaverse has transcended physical boundaries so that it can provide a unique virtual experience. He revealed that today's technological innovation includes a metaverse in line with the company's spirit.

“Metaverse empowers us to transcend physical and spatial boundaries to create unique virtual experiences that couldn't have happened otherwise. Innovation is in our DNA, and we can't wait for you all to experience this burgeoning virtual world.”

Previously, Samsung has also launched a Smart TV that can display NFT digital art. On the other hand, the entry of a number of giant companies into the metaverse realm, such as Nike, Adidas, and Samsung, has encouraged metaverse-focused cryptocurrencies such as MANA and SAND.

At the time of writing, the prices of MANA and SAND cryptocurrencies were trading at the levels of Rp. 42,233 and Rp. 68,044. MANA and SAND broke their all-time highs (ATH) on November 25, 2021, at the level of Rp. 83,590 and Rp. 119,911.
