JAKARTA – Adam Aron as CEO of AMC Theaters revealed that his party is on the right track to accept payments with Dogecon and Shiba Inu. The company plans to receive DOGE and SHIB in the 1st quarter of 2022.

For information, AMC Entertainment Holdings or AMC Theaters is the largest cinema network company in the US, Europe, and in various other countries. Currently, AMC Theaters is reported to have around 950 theaters spread across the world, as reported by Bitcoin.com News.

On Thursday, January 6, 2022, Aron tweeted about various questions regarding whether his party accepted DOGE and SHIB repeatedly. He said that the possible implementation of the two meme coins in the first quarter of this year, most likely in March.

In November 2021, the CEO of AMC announced that it would accept payments with Dogecoin and Shiba Inu via Bitpay.

AMC executives announced in November last year that the company would accept DOGE and SHIB through the Bitpay digital wallet. However, at that time Bitpay did not support SHIB. Aron later said that the crypto payment company Bitpay would soon support SHIB at his request.

In December 2021, Bitpay reportedly supports DOGE and SHIB. This means that the two meme coins will be able to be used to pay for tickets at AMC Theatres' cinemas.
