JAKARTA - Clubhouse has again made it easier for iOS users to access its platform, by adding live caption capabilities for the audio room.

The live caption feature is really needed by users, because the Clubhouse application runs entirely on live audio. Previously without this feature, Clubhouse is completely unusable for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Through its Twitter account, Clubhouse officially announced the feature and it is available in 13 languages, including English, Cantonese, Mandarin Chinese, Yue Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, and Turkish.

However, citing Digital Trends, Friday, November 19, the language is not worldwide yet, as Clubhouse plans to support more languages in future updates. It's worth noting that this feature is still in beta, so it may not work fully as expected.

Because rooms in Clubhouses can have many people speaking different languages, the live transcription feature must rely on automatic language detection. Unfortunately it is not known for sure when this feature is available on Android, and officially launched.

Recently, Clubhouse also added other features like Apple's new Spatial Audio, and a new Music Mode to help improve sound for budding musicians doing their hours on social networks. In Indonesia itself, the application intends to provide the Java language.

The English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and French versions are automatically generated by the AI. So there may still be inaccuracies in translating, please always see Indonesian as our main language. (system supported by DigitalSiber.id)
