World Cup Qualification: Germany Qualify For Qatar After Libas North Macedonia 4-0

JAKARTA - Germany crushed North Macedonia with a landslide score of 4-0 in the continued match of the 2022 World Cup Group J European zone Qualifiers at the Philip II Arena, Skopje, North Macedonia on Tuesday morning.

This victory ensured Germany's position as Group winners with 21 points from 8 matches and ensured they qualified for the upcoming Qatar 2022 World Cup finals.

Launching Antara, Timo Werner contributed two goals, while the other two were scored by Kai Havertz and Jamal Musiala, respectively.

Germany took the initiative to attack as the game started and locked up North Macedonia, who were just waiting for a chance to counterattack.

The visitors appeared dominant, but still had difficulty breaking down the opponent's defense. There is no ripe opportunity until the 15th minute. On the other hand, North Macedonia has repeatedly threatened to counterattack.

Until the 30th minute, Germany dominated possession and fired seven shots on target. However, all to no avail.

In the 45th minute, Germany got its best chance through Werner's hard shot which goalkeeper Dimitrievski could still deny.

In the 70th minute, Germany doubled their lead thanks to Werner's strike in the penalty area after receiving Muller's pass. The visitors lead 2-0.

Three minutes later, Werner scored again with a shot from distance to the far post which Dimitrievski couldn't stop. The position is 3-0.

In the 83rd minute, Germany again added to his goal collection. The combination game of Musiala and Adeyemi was completed by Musiala's hard kick from the edge of the penalty box. North Macedonia are four goals behind.

There were no additional goals and the match ended with the score 4-0 for Germany to win.
