JAKARTA - Neymar has revealed that the 2022 World Cup in Qatar could be his last World Cup tournament as the pressure of the match has taken a toll on his body and mind.

The Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) player has become Brazil's mainstay in their bid to win their sixth World Cup in 2014 and 2018 editions.

However, Brazil failed to win the two World Cups after being eliminated in the semi-finals (2014) and quarter-finals (2018).

Ahead of the start of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Neymar admits he has no plans to extend his international career until the 2026 World Cup being held with the United States, Canada and Mexico.

"I think this is my last World Cup," the 29-year-old said in a new DAZN exclusive documentary, Neymar & The Line Of Kings.

"I see it as the last (World Cup) because I don't know if I have the strength to deal with football again."

"So I will do everything to do well, do everything to win with my country, to fulfill my biggest dream since I was a kid. And I hope I can do it."

Neymar played in the World Cup for the first time in 2014 which was held in his own country. Since then, he has continued to rely on Brazil to win their first title since 2002.
