JAKARTA A new render made by 3D artist and developer Aser Dipprey tries to visualize the potential design of the iPhone 17 Pro. The rendering shows a camera module that runs nearly as wide as the phone's body, replacing the design of the square camera module that has been placed on the left side.
Dipprey previously shared this rendering in a video that his Patreon members could only access. The rendering features the iPhone 17 Pro in two colors: silver and Space Black.
Over the past few years, the iPhone Pro model has a square camera module located on the left side of the phone body, with a triangular-shaped lens array inside. However, the latest report states that the iPhone 17 Pro will leave the design and replace it with a camera module that almost meets the width of the phone, although the triangular lens arrangement is maintained.
In Dipprey's render, the camera module is not symmetric, with a larger distance on the left side compared to the right side. This rendering is thought to be based on the CAD image circulating last month. Although the CAD image is claimed to be fake by several sources, including the famous leaker Majin Bu and Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman, the design is believed to reflect an overview of the original CAD image being tested.

Reaction to Design
The reaction to this claimed design has not been fully positive. Although Dipprey's rendering gives a very subtle and detailed look, it itself describes the design only as "molerated."
Majin Bu, who has a pretty good track record although not perfect in leaking information about Apple, previously managed to predict the Desert Titanium color for the iPhone 16 Pro. However, this time he stated that the CAD image circulating was fake, although the design reflects what Apple is testing.
According to 9to5Mac, this rendering is the best picture so far based on the circulating CAD reports and images. However, there is still a lot of speculation involved in translating the design feature into a realistic rendering.
Personally, although the new design often feels strange at first sight, many feel this design looks less attractive. What do you think? Please share your views in the comments column.
