JAKARTA - A late goal scored by Rodrygo Goes one minute before dispersal brought Real Madrid to win over Inter MIlan with a 1-0 score in the Champions League Group D match at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, Italy, Wednesday local time.

Inter had 18 attempted shots and Real Madrid had 12 before Rodrygo's strike became the only chance for the visitors to win.

Launching Antara, this victory leaves Los Blancos in second place in Group D standings with three points, behind debutants Sheriff Tiraspol who won over Shakhtar Donetsk in an early match, while Inter are in third place.

The match looked likely to end in a draw, but the visitors managed to break the deadlock a minute before normal time through substitute Rodryo as the Brazilian talent picked up a cross from new Real Madrid midfielder, Eduardo Camavinga, to tear the home net and seal victory for Carlo Ancelotti's side. .
