JAKARTA - The leader of the standings Fabio Quartararo will try to conquer the less friendly MotorLand Aragon track to get closer to becoming the first French rider to win the world title.
The Yamaha rider has bagged five wins this season and is now 65 points clear of reigning world champion Joan Mir of the Suzuki team.
However, Aragon is home to many Spanish riders, including six-time world champion Marc Marquez.
"Aragon is probably the worst track on the calendar, not for Yamaha but for me", Quartararo said as quoted by Antara from the team's official website.
"I've been fast there before, I've taken pole position, but I've never been really consistent.
"So it's going to be a great thing to improve on. I want to learn on that track and be consistent there too".
With six races remaining, although the 22-year-old is yet to win at Aragon, the world title is still in sight.
Behind Mir, Johann Zarco (Pramac Ducati) and Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) are 69 points clear and 70 points clear of Quartararo.

Zarco and Bagnaia have never won a MotoGP race while their Ducati bikes are usually overwhelmed at the Spanish track which saw the Desmosedici engine win the last time in 2010.
Meanwhile Mir's teammate Alex Rins will pose a serious threat, as he did when he won last year's race.
Suzuki, however, hasn't had their rider win a single race this year.
