Cristiano Ronaldo Asks To Be Sold To Man City, Juventus Puts A Tag Of £25 million

JAKARTA - Cristiano Ronaldo, through his agent Jorge Mendes, told Juventus that he no longer wants to play for the Italian club.

Sky in Italy reported as reported by Antara on Friday that City had been offered to sign Ronaldo and the English club was willing to offer him a two-year contract with a salary of £12.8 million per season.

CR7 currently pocketed a salary of £31 million per year after tax at the Allianz Stadium.

The Turin club is preparing to hear Manchester City's offer, but Juve wants at least £25 million for the Portugal captain. Juventus want to sell Ronaldo before his contract expires next summer.

The Italian club has also started looking for another striker to replace him, they are currently in further talks to sign Moise Kean from Everton, who scored 17 goals in 41 games while on loan at Paris-Saint Germain last season.

Juve also wants to sign City's Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus, but the Premier League champions are unwilling to sell him.

The news of CR7's departure from Turin was also informed by player transfer specialist journalist Fabrizio Romano through his tweets.

Ronaldo joined Juventus from Real Madrid in 2018 for a fee of around £105 million and he has scored 101 goals in 134 games for the club.

During his I Bianconeri uniform, Ronaldo has helped them win two Serie A titles, one Coppa Italia trophy, and two Italian Super Cups.

He was substituted by Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri for their first game of the season against Udinese and he has also left the training with an arm injury on Wednesday 25 August.

Pep Guardiola himself says he is satisfied with his current squad, but City is still ready to sign a new striker after failing to land Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur.

Ronaldo's name became famous when he played for Manchester United from 2003 to 2009. With the Red Devils, he scored 118 goals in 292 matches.
