Barcelona Bequeath Lionel Messi's Number 10 To The Player Who Oscillates The Most, Philippe Coutinho

JAKARTA - Spanish giants Barcelona have decided Philippe Coutinho to wear the number 10 jersey, continuing the legacy of Lionel Messi who left for Paris Saint-Germain.

The Espana Football page reported as reported by Antara, Friday, August 20, that Coutinho's previous jersey number, 14, had been taken by Albanian striker Rey Manaj.

Currently Barcelona are still waiting for Coutinho's decision whether he is willing to use the number 10 shirt.

Barcelona is not at all thinking about retiring the number 10 shirt, instead hoping Coutinho will take this opportunity.

By wearing this jersey number, Coutinho could become a key player for Barcelona after several seasons did not appear convincing and was loaned to Bayern Munich.

Currently Coutinho is trying to recover from a long injury and is expected to soon be grazing again with the Blaugrana.

Coutinho came to Barcelona from Liverpool in 2018 for 135 million euros (Rp 2.2 trillion).

During his time with Barcelona, Coutinho has played in 90 games and scored 23 goals and 14 assists.
