JAKARTA - Argentina national team captain Lionel Messi is reportedly not going to Paris before his agreement with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is fulfilled.

Quoted by Antara from Football Espana, Tuesday, August 19, it is reported that there are several agreements that are currently not yet approved by both parties.

This deal deals with the image rights of Messi and other contract details involving the 34-year-old's signature.

Furthermore Lionel Messi will remain in the city of Barcelona until at least a deal can be agreed in principle.

This makes it certain that Messi will not be involved in French Ligue 1 matches in the next few weeks.

It is known, PSG have now started their journey in Ligue 1 and at the weekend managed to beat Troyes with a score of 2-1.

Previously, Lionel Messi failed to return to the Barcelona uniform after his contract expired on June 30.

Messi was willing to accept half of his previous salary at Barcelona but financial regulations from La Liga prevented La Pulga from returning to the Blaugrana.

On Sunday, Messi said goodbye to Barcelona, marking the end of their more than 21 years of togetherness.
