4 Pillars Of Sports Programs That Need Support From The APBN-APBD

JAKARTA - Deputy for the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BKKP) for Politics, Law and Security and PMK, Iwan Taufik Purwanto, appreciated the medals won by Indonesian athletes at the Tokyo Olympics.

Iwan said BKKP continues to support and oversee the management of grant funds to support the national sports sector. BKKP itself, he said, moved through state finance legislation and specifically the National Sports System Law or number 3 of 2005.

Where it is emphasized that National sports are managed with the principles of transparency and accountability to encourage the availability of accessible information so as to provide opportunities for all parties to participate in sports activities.

As well as ensuring that everything runs with a control system to avoid fraud and irregularities so that sporting goals can be achieved.

"The implementation is issued in the RPJMN/RPJMD every 5 years and also the RPJP in the field of sports. Later every year it will be included in the RKPD. This is for the development of culture and improvement of sports achievements at the international level," said Iwan in the Webinar on accountability for the management of grant funds and their problems, Thursday, 5 August.

Iwan explained, there are 4 main pillars of sports programs that require funds, both from the APBN, APBD and other funds such as sponsorship.

The first pillar is the organization of international sporting events in Indonesia. Second, coaching outstanding athletes and sending Indonesian contingents to achieve achievements in the context of international level events.

"Thirdly, every year and in the near future we will hold the National Sports Week (PON) and National Paralympic Week (Peparnas)," explained Iwan.

Fourth, how the assets and infrastructure that have been built to support the improvement of national and international sports achievements can be kept safe and optimized for the next sport development.

"So in this context, we think we have one perception that everyone can improve sports achievements at the international level," he said.

To make it happen, according to Iwan, it takes collaboration and synergy from various related parties, not only Kemenpora, KONI, and KOI but all related parties need to collaborate and synergize related to the management of grant funds.

"So accountability can occur," he said.
