JAKARTA - British police have so far detained 86 people following the Euro 2020 final between Italy and England.
The Metropolitan Police said offenses ranged from breaking public rules to injuring people, drunkenness, disruptive behavior, and criminal acts.
53 of them were arrested at Wembley Stadium where supporters clashed with each other and with officers, breached security barriers, and breached security areas before kick-off which Italy won on penalties.
The Metropolitan Police said 19 officers were injured.

"During the course of the Euro tournament, most people watched the game in an orderly and safe manner and enjoyed it before last night's final," said Deputy Assistant Commissioner Laurence Taylor.
"However, the irresponsible incidents we witnessed yesterday involved a handful of people who intended to use football as an excuse to get into conflict with other members of the public and police officers."
