Persib Management Urges The Jakmania Not to Force to Attend in Bandung to Support Persija

The Jakmania is expected not to be present in Bandung when Persib vs Persija (doc. Persija).

JAKARTA - Persib Bandung management appeals to Persija Jakarta supporters, The Jakmania, not to force themselves to attend the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GBLA), Bandung, to give direct support.

This is related to the agenda of the meeting of the two teams in the 17th week of the 2025/2026 Super League which will take place on Sunday, January 11, 2026. According to regulations, this closing match of the first round was held without the presence of the guest team's supporters.

The provision refers to Regulation 1 League 2025/26 Article 5 regarding Security and Comfort Paragraph 7, as well as Article 141 of the PSSI Discipline Code for 2023.

This regulation explicitly prohibits the presence of visiting team supporters at the stadium in order to maintain security, order, and the quality of the match.

Regarding this, Persib's Head of Communications, Adhi Pratama, emphasized that compliance with the rules is a shared responsibility.

According to him, the success of the match is not only about the result on the field, but also about how all parties maintain a safe and respectful atmosphere.

"We hope that this rule is carried out with full responsibility. Violations will result in severe sanctions," he said in a written statement quoted on Friday, January 9, 2026.

Adhi added that the PSSI Disciplinary Committee is currently actively taking action on each violation. The sanctions imposed not only have an impact on individuals, but can also be detrimental to the club as a whole. Therefore, discipline and collective awareness are key.

"For the common good, the security of the match, and the progress of the pride of each club, let's obey and enforce the rules that have been agreed upon. Indonesian football will grow healthier if we all play a role," he said.

The heated match between Persib Bandung and Persija Jakarta will indeed color the 2025/2026 Super League this weekend. The aroma of competition is already strong even before the kickoff whistle is blown.

The reason is quite clear because besides the strong rivalry, the two teams are currently competing fiercely at the top of the standings. Persija, who just picked up a 2-0 victory over Persijap Jepara, now climbed to second place with a collection of 35 points from 16 matches.
