Persib Bandung goalkeeper Teja Paku Alam believes Persik Kediri will make it difficult for his team when the two teams meet in the 16th week of the Indonesian League, BRI Super League at the Brawijaya Kediri Stadium, Monday (5/1).

Quoted from the club's official website, Sunday, Teja said that although the match would be tough, he was still optimistic that Persib Bandung could get the most out of it.

"This will be a difficult match for us. But the important thing is that we have to show the best game and try as much as possible," said Teja.

The former Semen Padang goalkeeper said that he and other Persib Bandung players were determined to keep their team on the winning track.

Teja said he was ready to work hard for Persib Bandung to achieve the best results in this match and bring Bojan Hodak's squad back to the top of the Super League standings.

"Our preparations are very good. We have to focus more to get the desired results at Persik's home later. Please also pray for Bobotoh in the match later," said Teja.

Currently, Persib Bandung is in third place in the Super League standings with 34 points from 15 matches, three points behind Borneo FC in first place.

Persib Bandung is required to win when facing Persik Kediri to be able to return to the first place in the Super League standings.
