JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team will face Oman in a trial match on Saturday. Previously, also in a friendly match, the Garuda squad defeated 2-3 from Afghanistan.

Two days before the match, national team coach Shin Tae-yong summoned Muhammad Riyandi from club Barito Putera to strengthen the goalkeeping sector in his squad.

"We summoned Muhammad Riyandi to add to the existing goalkeeper. Currently his condition is okay, therefore we summon him to Dubai," said Shin, quoted from the official PSSI website, Friday.

Thus, the Indonesian national team will be strengthened by four goalkeepers in Dubai, with three other names being Nadeo Argawinata, Aqil Savik and Muhammad Adi Satryo.

The trial parties against Afghanistan and Oman are part of the preparation of the Indonesian national team to undergo the last three matches of Group G 2022 World Cup Qualification in the Asian zone.
