Rendy recorded a time of two minutes 38.714 seconds after going through a challenging and competitive track at Khao Kheow Open Zoo, Thailand.
"It's quite a relief, I have given this to the maximum, I am very grateful for today's results. This time record is personal best and the best time I can give," Rendy said proudly.

The gold medal from this event was won by Thailand's host athlete, Methan Boonsane, who appeared dominant with a time of two minutes 37.856 seconds.
Meanwhile, in third place is the Filipino athlete, John Derick Fart, with a time of two minutes 43.676 seconds.
"Furthermore, I have a lot more training to do. I want to apply the brakes for the future and strengthen the pedal again," said Rendy.
Chef de Mission (CdM) of the Indonesian contingent, Bayu Priawan Djokosoetono, hopes that success can spur the enthusiasm of all Indonesian athletes who will continue to fight in the series of 2025 SEA Games matches.
