Unfortunately, Broken Feet Door At Home, Cole Palmer Delays To Strengthen Chelsea

JAKARTA - Chelsea forward Cole Palmer was forced to postpone plans to return to play for Chelsea. Because of this, his toe was knocked on the door which resulted in a fracture on his thumb and was forced to pull over for several weeks.

Palmer is indeed in bad luck. When he started to recover from a groin injury and was able to return to training, he was even hit by a disaster. Just a simple incident. His leg fell on the door. The accident was experiencing Palmer at home again.

It was not serious that his toe was injured. However, the pain from the impact made Palmer feel uncomfortable when wearing shoes and kicking the ball.

The incident occurred at home, "said manager Enzo Maresca as quoted by The Sun. Her leg hit the door. It's normal because it happens often. But the incident made him delay plans to return to play this week," he said again.

Every night I wake up frequently and then to the toilet. When walking to the toilet, my head or feet often hit something. This can happen to anyone and it's a normal thing... he said.

Previously, Palmer had been absent for two months due to a groin injury. As a result, he also could not strengthen the England national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

When his condition improved, Palmer even got an incident that was actually trivial and often experienced by everyone while at home.

However, the impact on his toe was quite hard, which made him limp and unable to wear flip-flops.

The last time I saw him was yesterday morning. He was seen walking without flip-flops and not wearing socks. The road is indeed slightly limped, but his condition is getting better. The problem is that his fingers hurt when he was about to wear shoes," said Maresca, who said there was a rift in the player's toe.

Because of his toe, Palmer's schedule returned to the field and was forced to experience a delay. At least the 23-year-old will miss England's Premier League match against Burnley this weekend. Palmer was also absent when the Blues face Barcelona in the Champions League and big match against Arsenal in London Derby.

"He is definitely absent from tomorrow's match [against Burnley] and then against Barcelona and Arsenal. There is a fractured heart. He can't play until next week," he said.

Without Palmer, there really is no problem for Maresca. The reason is that there are many players who occupy this position, including Joao Pedro, Enzo Fernandez and Estevoo Willian.
